After a successful career in magazine publishing – as an Art Director and Editor – I opened a small shop in Somerset, UK, selling classic nightwear, underwear, socks, toiletries and home fragrance.

It gave me a great insight into the wants and needs of my lovely customers – some of whom were shopping for themselves, most for an older relative, often in a care home

Having owned a bricks & mortar shop, I know the styles, fabrics and colours our mums prefer as they get older. I've chosen the most comfortable, best selling items from my shop.

Many of the gift boxes I found are aimed at young women. I've curated our boxes to appeal to a wider age range. We focus on British brands, plus independent small-batch makers. For that personal touch we hand write your message on the reverse of our You Are Loved card.
